I know when my mom had a stroke I buried myself in the funniest fanfic I could find just to get through. I'm glad this has been a distraction for you today.

In any case, I wish the posts didn't get so small and narrow in comment fics!

Aww, thanks. <3 We don't know much yet, but the kind of cancer it is is *not good* so hubs is kinda beside himself so am I, since I love that woman to bits. So yeah, a distraction can be good. Sorry about your mum's stroke. :(

Well I've read HUNDREDS of HP/DM fics. You know, it's funny. I started out as a Twi writer (cringe, don't hit me) and then last summer I finally started reading HP fic (which I'd always shunned on the grounds that I got everything I needed from the books). Um. I was so wrong. And then Merlin happened, bam, and I started writing that. So I think there's a little HP in me yet. ;)

I don't judge twi-writers! I've read all the books, and while they are deeply flawed, there is also something about flawed work that makes writing fanfic that much more rewarding. (and I've written Jacob/Edward. so.)

AND!!!! I keep forgetting which one of H/D or M/A are currently naked. :P

Yes, the books are certainly deeply flawed, not least because they were YA and half the fans were adult women, but that's another story all together ::grumble Mormon grumble::
