so... apparently cars need brakes. especially when driving on highways.

yeah. good to know.

today was NOT a good day.

(and before I freak anyone out - I'm fine, the family is FINE. The car is not.)

I did, however, get 75% of my Christmas shopping done before car decided brakes were optional.

faithwood's is doing a holidays fest Harry/Draco rec signal boost thingy - sort of a one stop shop for what Harry/Draco fics are being recced this season. (which is super cool if you feel like you have no reccers on your flist, or if you are a reccer with not many H/D readers on your flist).

ALSO III:
since lj is being wonky, i'm keeping a list on DW of direct links to hd_holidays fics that are hosted off-lj. just in case I'm ever in the mood to read and lj is being a bitch.

Oh no BOO to the car not being fine! Glad you're ok, though. 'decided brakes were optional' - really, the ideas these things get up to! You must have gotten such a fright.

silly car. i don't even know what it was thinking. we treat it so nicely.

we'd just had it washed and well... apparently it liked being dirty and was getting back at us the only way it knew how.
