so... apparently cars need brakes. especially when driving on highways.

yeah. good to know.

today was NOT a good day.

(and before I freak anyone out - I'm fine, the family is FINE. The car is not.)

I did, however, get 75% of my Christmas shopping done before car decided brakes were optional.

since lj is being wonky, i'm keeping a list on DW of direct links to hd_holidays fics that are hosted off-lj. just in case I'm ever in the mood to read and lj is being a bitch.

why? My car broke down, too. I only bought it 2 months ago. The seller will not repair it, I must pay it myself. Now I´m broke like my car. (This year everything broke: My cats, the dog, my car, my husbands car, the tv, the camera, the heating system, the fume hood etc. etc.). I paid over 10.000 € this year alone on new things or the repair them.

You know what? We should have a drink tonight.
