Bradley/Colin Rec

Maybe The Seaside Is The Place by [livejournal.com profile] junkshop_disco Bradley/Colin [NC-17] (25k)
Summary: Colin’s unbreakable rule about not doing anything romantic with his co-stars leads to a heart broken into pieces around his Merlin boots. Years later, an unexpected reunion with Bradley gives him another chance -- assuming he can make room in his schedule between jobs and existential crises for love, that is.
First, this fic has an infidelity warning. Spoilers about that: Colin cheats on an OC with Bradley. It’s an important part of this fic with appropriate consequences. This fic is beautifully written and completely engaging. There was no way I was putting it down for the sake of getting a reasonable amount of sleep last night. This fic begins with Colin pushing Bradley away, and breaking both their hearts in the process. Colin is bit of a mess in this fic, making hard choices and closing himself off because he feels he needs to to be successful. It’s hard to empathize with him, but I couldn’t help wishing with all my heart that Bradley (who is just so well done in this fic) would just FIX HIM. The result is a beautiful, achey fic that clutches your heart and leads you to a stunningly happy place.

I read it in bed last night, before I went to sleep and I had so many emotions! It was gorgeous!

me too! I turned out the light and was like:

♥__♥ CANNOT SLEEP ♥__♥

I really loved Bradley. Honestly, not a Bradley I think I've ever seen in fic before but given the more insight we have into Bradley him stepping away from acting and just... doing other things is something I could easily believe.

and Colin! ;_;

Bradley was lovely! ITA this was a very plausible Bradley.

And Colin! I loved the exploration of why he was the way he was with acting and his emotions.
