Merlin/Gwaine - slippery

Gwaine came crashing through the doors to Gauis's workshop.

"Careful! The floor's ... "

Gwaine was suddenly on his back on the floor staring up at the dirty rafters. That one on the left looked like it needed to be replace. They all sort of looked like that. Gwaine had obviously knocked his head because the room was also tilting on it's non-existent axis.

"Slippery." Merlin fished lamely. Merlin's hand was waving in front of his face and Gwaine could do nothing but stare at it for a minute. He must have reached out to grab Merlin's hand because he was suddenly being pulled to his feet and he much preferred the stability of lying on the ground while the world was tilting. Thank you very much.

"Are you alright, mate?" Merlin asked as he led Gwaine to a chair and sat him down. Gwaine could damn well close his eyes and lean into Merlin's hand on his forehead if he pleased and he really needed to stop rationalizing things in his mind like this. Someone might mistake him as crazy.

"Gwaine?!" Gwaine was definitely not imagining the hint of lust in Merlin's voice as Gwaine unexpectedly pulled Merlin to sit in his lap.

"I'm fine. Hush, Merlin." And okay, the room spinning suddenly had nothing to do with the bump on his head and everything to do with Merlin's plump lips pressed flush against his. Gwaine was totally lucid enough to hear the soft exhaled moan that left Merlin's lips. No, he wasn't imaging things.

Or maybe he was because Merlin was suddenly standing in front of him and Gwaine had no idea when he'd wiggled out of Gwaine's lap.

"Um... did you need something?" Merlin definitely squeaked that last part out so Gwaine definitely hadn't imagined the past few moments.

"I was getting what I needed until you pulled away." Gwaine says horribly cocky things that make even him cringe sometimes. He honestly can't recall what he'd come running into Gaius's chambers for anyway.

"Oh." Merlin was flashing him a brilliantly apprehensive grin and Gwaine spared no time in pulling Merlin back into his lap.
