This is so beautiful. Arthur has been lied to left right and center and still he remains noble and keeps his eye on what matters instead of allowing it to drag him down. I love how he found out about Merlin's magic and wasn't just 'okay that's ticketeeboo by me, let's have lunch'. He would be angry and feel betrayed until someone pointed out Merlin didn't have a choice. It is really well done how it happens to be Lancelot who tells him, and how Arthur still listens to him even though he wants to send him as far away as possible. I'd love to read more of this.
