I wish LJ had a feature that said "Hey, idiot. You have comments you haven't replied to in the following posts..."

When it comes to replying to things, I have the organisational abilities of someone who checks the fridge six times to see if they are out of milk then still forgets to add it to the grocery list.

YOU HAVE NOT LOGGED IN IN WEEKS. WHY ARE YOU NOT ADDICTED TO ME LIKE EVERYONE ELSE YOU KNOW? THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT YOU RIGHT NOW.

um... no idea why that needed to be in caps. >.> but it felt right for the deep, creepy, slow=talking FB voice in my head.

I think I've given up hope of replying to last years hd_holidays before this year starts posting.

The problem with anon fest is that you can't reply to comments as they come in!!! Which is much more manageable, yes?

awe! thank you! But I'm afraid I'm so inconsistent at replying sometimes people may be offended.

I have a TERRIBLE habit of leaving 2-3 comments unanswered at the bottom of posts.

There's actually a reason for this. People comment at night when I'm off-line. Then in the morning, I'm all excited to see the comments I read them all and save them to reply to later and then make my morning posts or gather my recs for the day and forget to reply to those comments people left me from the night before! :(

I should stop talking about it, and go reply now, shouldn't I?

lol! Yeah, I've definitely been of FB more often. It's good for those random thoughts and things I want to share. I can can also kill some time with the games. ~_~

And yes! Hi! I'm trying to get back into being on LJ, but I'm not super-attached to any fandoms at the moment, and the writing bug never seems to bite when I have free time, and RL just seems...I dunno, who cares about that anyway, huh? lol. LJ should be all about squee and awesome fic and stuff like that. :P

Yes, I usually manage to comment on the ones I post for the hell of it, but fest fics... *tears at hair* It's so hard to go back.

At least you're in good company. We all suck at it. A few months ago I answered comments that were A YEAR AND A HALF OLD!!

OMG! It's not just me! I am forever behind in replying. At least some of the archives have an option of showing unanswered reviews. And I wonder things like how far back does one answer? I feel weird when I reply to the ones from over a year ago. I just can't keep up.

I'd use this feature so much too. Sometimes I answer a new comment somewhere only to then realize I hadn't replied to previous comments on that entry, and that they are now 6 months old or such. =(

God, me too. My worst fear is that there are overlooked and unreplied to emails in my inbox from friends.

Keeping up with comments is hard. :( I'm good as far as responding to fic comments are concerned, but I've become awful about responding to other types of comments. I'm hoping once my fic writing responsibilities are over I'll get better again.

God me too!!! I hate that I keep getting so behind with comments, especially as I hate leaving generic 'thank yous' and like to actually reply to what the person has written. Half the time these days my replies are prefaced with an apology for taking so long to reply!
