hahaha, I was all ready to start a charity writing comm to raise money for the injured chairs, but I see, once again, I am late to the party.

nice to see there are still some caring, sharing people in the world. ♥

Hilarious.

As a person living in a seismically active area (moderately so, I'd say), I was totally expecting cracks in the ground :). Luckily, the casualties were minimum, although the chair might not agree - let's just hope it had already expired of a heart attack due to panic.

I bet the media had a field day, though. Here, if there's as much as a jolt (and there was one a week or so ago), you get reporters interviewing some geophysicist about when exactly are we expecting the Big One that will raze everything to the ground.

ENDLESS LOL.

You guys must have suffered so... the way we Brits suffer in winter, when the country comes to a halt from the three inches VERY LARGE AMOUNTS of snow!

ROFlMAO. That's hysterical!

I burst out laughing when I saw the news; it showed all the cracks and people running and then added primly 'no one was injured' and I thought what a very Canadian earthquake, so polite. And they interviewed a nice tourist couple from Taiwan who were smiling and saying they get quakes like this twice a week, no biggie.

Heh. What's even more amusing is the "I survived the 2010 Toronto Earthquake" t-shirts going around.

Jokes aside, if that lawn chair had actually toppled due to the earthquake, the structural damage would have collapsed nearby buildings.

Oh the humanity! Or lack thereof!
