merlin_muses, a brand new community focused on inspiring Merlin fanworks, is hosting its first fest, and we would like to invite YOU to join in.

Round 1 of the Merlin Prompt Fest is open to all genres and pairings – including RPF. ANYONE can submit a prompt, even if you don't plan to write or draw in the fest, and all prompts can be claimed for both fic and art.

I KNOW OMG. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT TOOK ME THIS LONG TO GET INTO IT. My flist was all OMG MERLIN over a year ago but I just never got around to watching it until last week. IT IS SO VERY SHINY. My face was pretty much XD throughout the entire first episode.

I'm totally glad to be in the Merlin fandom because I don't think I've been this excited about a new fandom for so long!

I get so excited when people find Merlin for the first time (ask Maggie - I was like "HERE HAVE ALL 26 EPISODES, DO YOU NEED ME TO SEND YOU THEM ON A DVD? I TOTALLY CAN" (no really I'm an evil enabler who loves dragging people into this fandom because IT IS SO AWESOME). =D

I blame emerald_dragon8. She convinced me that it was shiny and slashy and awesomeness. Of course, I dunno if she expected that my first reaction would be OMG UTHER/MERLIN = ♥ *g*

I am about halfway through the second season now. LOVING IT SO MUCH! *bounces*
