As much as I am not willing to admit it at times, I am always more than a bit fascinated at the use of potions in fanfics. Not the standard alchemy stuff, but more the new creations that the authors can come up with. That blue flower is made of a LOT of win... just the photo alone looks magical and I can imagine its essence being a peacock blue concoction...

You've nailed the cross gen in this one! I never felt at any point that the development between Draco and Al was forced. The unrequited love concept has been used many times but often I'm still not sold on it... it's not easy for an adult to see one person as another no matter how alike they are. By having the effect of the potion at play together, you strike the balance of having enough logic to propel the relationship but retains the impulsive aspect of the connection, which has to be there to cross the generation line.

Love both your Draco and Al. Draco is still calculating but despite of his profession you made him sympathetic ... I like the backstory about him not being accepted into the wizarding ranks and so was forced to tread the grey line between making legitamate and not so legitimate potions. As much as I was able to tell early on that he was the maker of the poison, I never thought his intention to help Al was entirely for selfish reasons... and it's through his voice that you gave him his heart without explicitly saying so. And Al.. you gave him just enough angst and awareness to raise him above being a generic horny teenager. I like his intelligence and the tentative way you portray where he and Draco will go. Both of them were too smart to jump right in. :)))

Sorry for rambling, I haven't had much sleep for quite a long time and so am a bit fuzzy. This is awesome! And as usual, you made the great writing look so smooth and easy (like you did with Adrenaline Chasers)... the story moved along before my eyes as if the events were the only way things were meant to be :)
