Hmm... I don't know. To me, I doesn't sound like Mary-sueness, more like when an author writes something, anything, their beliefs and hopes and dreams sometimes leak into the piece their writing at that time. Maybe she's put a bit of herself in every female she's written, bits of her personality split up here and there to make them seem more human and real and this one just happened to be in Narcissa.
