I started reading the fic, and though I adored the hotness, I can see the sizzle comes from the age difference and the forbidden nature of that sort of relationship. I think I appreciate H/D more (in general!) as a pairing, because there's more history between them, and therefore more built-in conflict. With Harry and Scorpius, or any next gen pairing, it's like a blank book. Which isn't bad at all, but it's more like original fic than fanfic, so it doesn't ring my fanfic bells as much.
