The One Plot, Many Pairings Experiment - WEEK 1
The Challenge:
Have different writers each pick a pairing and write the same basic plot. In this case:
Character A and character B are trapped in a small space and unable to get out. They are tired and uncomfortable and a little too close for comfort. All they have each other and that makes things both better and worse.
Every Friday for the next few weeks I will post this list with the submissions of the week. I hope we’ll have most pairings written by the end of July, but I will keep posting updated lists as submissions come in.
Preliminary results: An identical premise with many pairings, in the hands of many authors create such completely different results that one would be hard pressed to read these and know that they all began with the same plot bunny. However, that may be a result of the vagueness of my prompt. If I were to do it again, I think the prompt would need to be more
